Victoria Jackson Life

Victoria Jackson (born August 2, 1959) is an American actress, comedian, and singer who appeared on Saturday Night Live (SNL) from 1986 to 1992.

From 2008 to 2017, Jackson was politically active as part of the Tea Party movement.

Is My Bow Too Tall?, Jackson's autobiography. In 2012, I went from Saturday Night Live to the Tea Party, which was the first time I was published.

Early life

Jackson was born in Miami, Florida, the niece of Marlene Esther (née Blackstad) and James McCaslin Jackson, a gym instructor. Jackson's father trained her in gymnastics from the age of 5 to 18.

Jackson attended Florida Bible College in Hollywood, Florida, and then transferred to Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, on a gymnastics scholarship. She was in her first play at Furman. She enrolled in Auburn University in 1979 for her senior year, transforming her major to theater. She left Auburn midway through her senior year to pursue an acting career.

Jackson earned a degree in theatre from Palm Beach Atlantic University in the 2000s.

Personal life

In 1984, Jackson married Nisan Mark Eventoff, a fire-eating magician, and had a daughter, Scarlet (born 1986). In 1991, the two were divorced. She rejoined her high school sweetheart, Paul Wessel, then a Miami-Dade SWAT team police officer, and the couple married and had a child, Aubrey (born 1994). The couple married in Nashville, Tennessee, when her husband retired in 2013.

It's not just Meghan! Duchess Googles up-and-coming designers to boost their profile - but royals including Kate Middleton, Zara Tindall, and Prince William have helped British brands soar too

www.dailymail.co.uk, October 6, 2024
When the Duchess of Sussex claimed that she spends her time Googling small and up-and-coming designers to put them in the global spotlight and boost sales, she raised eyebrows amongst royal watchers. While she undoubtedly can be credited with putting the British brand Strathberry on the map, she often chose to wear high-end - and expensive - designer labels such as Givenchy, Dior and Oscar de la Renta on official engagements. And, certainly, she is not the only member of the Royal Family to propel British brands to success: many labels attribute their sales boosts to the royal seal of approval.

Inside Meghan's Montecito. JAN MOIR visits the Californian home of the Duchess... and finds out exactly why she may never want to leave

After her three years of suffering and penury living in England, you cannot say that the Duchess of Sussex has not fully embraced her splashdown and re-entry into America. In particular, Meghan has embraced the luxe lifestyle and casual opulence enjoyed in her home state of California like a woman who knows she is never letting go again. Ever.

Inside Harry and Meghan's 'Godmother' community, celebs call 'Mayberry for rich people', where nepo kids run food trucks and people 'know each other's dogs'

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared to have a 'new haven' just down the road from their Montecito mansion. Harry and Meghan were among the guests at the opening of a new book store in the Santa Barbara town. The shop, named 'Godmothers' by Harry himself, is set  stately white barn and next to a beach cafe. It's been opened by celebrated literary agent Jennifer Rudolph Walsh (left) and cosmetics mogul Victoria Jackson (centre) - who say its Montecito's answer to a town square.
