David de Gea of Manchester United will not attend the Qatar World Cup later this year after being reportedly left off Spain's 55-man provisional squad roster. Luis Enrique, the Spanish president, has compiled a preliminary list of players who might qualify for the tournament, out of which his final 26-man squad will be selected from. Despite the large squad size, there is still no space for United's De Gea, who has been left out of three other Premier League goalkeepers.
