Women in hip-hop are being brought into the spotlight via Netflix next month in a new limited docuseries. The trailer, which was announced on July 26, clearly states that "Black women are destroying it in hip-hop right now" -- from "dominating the charts" to "being the ultimate influencers of the culture." So, in their own words, the docuseries allows women in hip-hop to tell their stories and praise the sisterhood that has contributed to their success.
