Uber's first full-year profit as demand for its cabs rises

After a net loss of £1.4 billion the year before, the San Francisco-based company reported a £870 million for 2023. Uber Eats' revenues, which also owns food distribution firm Uber Eats, increased 17% year on year to £37 billion. The company had a bumper run in the final quarter, with more than 2.6 billion journeys in the three months.
