The Walking Dead star Tom Payne revealed that he and his wife 'unexpectedly' welcomed twins earlier this month. The English actor, 41, married Swedish model Jennifer Akerman, 34, in 2020 and they share two-year-old son Harrison. The couple confirmed to PEOPLE on Wednesday that they were taken by 'surprise' when Jennifer gave birth to identical twins on April 1.

It was the second marriage exchange for the couple, who first married in December 2020. The actor, 39, and his bride, 33, had intended for a wedding in April 2020 before the Covid-19 pandemic postponed their date.
