Tom Murphy, a veteran catcher, is expected to sign a two-year, $8 million contract, with a club option for a third year, according to reports. The Giants have reached an agreement for Murphy, who will likely serve as backup catcher and mentorship to Giants starting catcher Patrick Bailey, according to ESPN's Jeff Passan.
