Ermington, Sydney: Read the appalling 'I just cut her toe off' texts at the centre of an alleged underworld kidnap and torture plot - after $25million worth of cocaine went missing

www.dailymail.co.uk, April 5, 2024
A man who allegedly kidnapped a woman over 84 kilograms of stolen cocaine before police claim a gang severed her toes and tied her to a tree was refused bail. According to prosecutors, the 40-year-old man, 'AN', who cannot be identified for legal reasons, allegedly snatched the woman off the street and gave her to a group of men who allegedly tortured her for two days. As they attempted to obtain a 'confession' about the drug's location, the woman had a gun tied to her head. More violence was feared in chilling messages sent via encrypted texts, according to the author: "I just cut her toe off." Fingers are next and 'I just stomped on her head.' The partner was then warned that "20 minutes and something else is coming"; and that "you don't just steal 25 mil and hope it goes away." She is dead,' according to the police.

EMILY PRESCOTT: The Crown's 'Kate Middleton's so hot' scene was nearly AXED (but not for the reason you think!)

www.dailymail.co.uk, February 18, 2024
EMILY PRESCOTT: When Prince William saw his wife-to-be 'hot' wearing a daring sheer outfit at a student fashion preview, he reportedly called her 'hot.' And as the Crown's designers recreated the pivotal moment for the screen, they had to take additional precautions in case they sparked a fire alarm, as I can recall. It wasn't the spark between William and Kate that caused health and safety concerns, but a haze machine, which produces a thin mist to make lighting effects look more realistic. Officials at the university where the scene was shot for the Netflix drama feared that the fog might have triggered their smoke detectors.
