Todd Anthony Bridges (born May 27, 1965) is an American actor.

Early life
Bridges was born in San Francisco, California, the son of Betty Alice Pryor, an actor, producer, and manager, and James Bridges Sr., a talent agent. Jimmy Bridges and his niece Brooke Bridges are both actors.

As a 15-year-old actor on Diff'rent Strokes, Bridges began smoking marijuana. Bridges battled a crack cocaine and methamphetamine addiction in his twenties. To help with his heroin use, he bought and sold medications. Bridges were arrested for criminal attack and cocaine use.
Bridges was fined $240 for holding a concealed weapon in 1983. When charged with making a bomb threat, he received a suspended sentence in 1987.
Bridges was arrested and charged with the attempted murder of Kenneth "Tex" Clay, a Los Angeles drug dealer whose charges were denied by Bridges, in 1989. Bridges pleaded not guilty and was represented by Johnnie Cochran, a respected defense lawyer who argued that Bridges was an injured youth who had been lured to opioids by an exploitative entertainment industry and was now being framed. Bridges was not at the shooting, according to a witness, and the jury dismissed all charges against him.
After Burbank, California police officers discovered methamphetamines and a loaded firearm in his car, bridges were arrested on December 29, 1992 on suspicion of transporting narcotics for sale and ownership of a loaded weapon. He was released on $10,000 bail. After years of use, bridges stopped using drugs on February 24, 1993.
Career
Bridges appeared on The Waltons, Little House on the Prairie, and the historic miniseries Roots. He was a regular on the Barney Miller spinoff Fish. It was playing Willis Jackson on the long-running NBC sitcom Diff'rent Strokes, which made him a household name, as well as Conrad Bain, Charlotte Rae, Dana Plato, and Gary Coleman. Bridges became the last surviving original cast member after Rae's death in 2018. (As of 2022, two actresses who joined the regular cast are still living: Mary Jo Catlett and Danny Cooksey.)
Bridges were featured in the 2002 special Celebrity Boxing with friend Vanilla Ice, whom he defeated.
