Duane Martin (born August 11, 1965 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American film and television actor.
Early life and education
Martin was born in Brooklyn, New York, and he graduated from New York University. In 1989, he played NCAA Division III basketball at NYU and was signed as an undrafted free agent to a non-guaranteed contract with the New York Knicks. However, he was quickly dismissed and never played in the NBA.
Personal life
Tisha Campbell, a former Martin and My Wife and Kids actor, was married to him. The couple married on August 17, 1996, and they have two sons. Campbell applied for divorce in February 2018, and it was finalized in December 2020.
Career
Martin appeared on television for the first time in the NBC comedy series Out All Night, which also starred Patti LaBelle and Vivica A. Fox and Morris Chestnut. He appeared in "I'll Make Love to You," a Boyz II Men's music video. He appeared on Vivica A. He was a cast member.
