AFL is the most recent sport to be caught up in climate change, with Fremantle supporters trying to break the club's relationship with Woodside Energy. The natural gas exporter (bottom right) has been a key supporter of the Fremantle Dockers for nearly 13 years, but a number of high-profile followers, including author Tim Winton and former WA Premier Carmen Lawrence, have been advised by the club to leave the deal.
