Ralf Rangnick has confirmed that he has been 'in contact with Bayern Munich' over a move to take over at the German club when Thomas Tuchel departs this summer.  The 65-year-old is set to manage Austria this summer at Euro 2024 and while he admitted that he will remain 'focused completely' on the international side, it appears the German coach is in the running to take over at the Bavarian club.    Bayern announced earlier this season that their current boss, Tuchel, would be leaving the club, amid an indifferent season that has seen the Bavarian outfit miss out on winning the Bundesliga for the first time in 11 years.

Amid intense speculation he would be Jurgen Klopp's successor at Liverpool, or replace Thomas Tuchel at Bayern, Alonso reaffirmed his commitment to Leverkusen last month.
