Joe Barile, the best-known Olympic luger, has sold his Lake Placid home for $28.5 million. Barile, 64, and his partner Pat Barile have bought their 70-acre mountain home. The Lake Placid home has hand-cut stone walls, elaborate ironwork, flying buttresses, bronze windows and doors, the result of over two decades of construction.
