CBS Sports enjoyed a record-breaking week of Champions League viewing figures thanks to the competition's thrilling quarterfinals. Led by the popular broadcast team of Kate Abdo, Jamie Carragher, Thierry Henry and Micah Richards, Real Madrid's thrilling win over Manchester City on penalties was the most-watched quarter-final of all time on the network.  The game at the Etihad Stadium drew 1.11 million viewers, which represented a 25 per cent increase in comparison to last year's quarterfinals.

Richards' former team fell to Bellingham and Los Blancos in penalties on Wednesday after drawing 4-4 on aggregate. Following the game, the 20-year-old held the CBS soccer analyst to his side of the bet. 'He's still meant to be wearing the Madrid shirt after the little wager we had, so I'm disappointed not to see that,' Bellingham told Anita Nneka Jones. 'Hopefully, we'll see it for the semifinal.'

Thierry Henry believes that Declan Rice shoulders the blame for the concession of Arsenal 's first goal in their 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich on Tuesday night. Mikel Arteta 's side were held at the Emirates in the Champions League quarter-final first-leg, as goals from Serge Gnabry and Harry Kane cancelled out that of Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard. The Gunners had taken the lead after Saka's pinpoint finish but were soon pegged back after a rare mix up at the back.
