When companies such as T-Mobile refused to collaborate, the new agent, who has not been identified, revealed that bureau workers would be outraged. Taibbi posted the remarks, following the unveiling of the new batch of 'Twitter Files' on the social media website. He disclosed the extent of interfacing between Twitter and the FBI in the absence of information on accounts, including their location, which was troubling. However, Lieu denied the allegations, telling the reporter: 'I'm on the House Judiciary Committee that has jurisdiction over the FBI, and you're lying.'
