Tânia Ribas Dias de Oliveira (born 18 June 1976) is a Portuguese television presenter.
Early life and education
Tânia Ribas de Olvieira was born in Lisbon's parish of So Jorge de Arroios on June 18th, 1976, and she was baptized in the Church of Our Lady of the Conception on January 16, 1977.
She graduated in Labour Sociology at the Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Polticas of Lisboa, which is (then) Universidade Técnica de Lisboa.
Personal life
She married Joo Cardoso in a Catholic religious ceremony on July 25, 2009, and the couple has two sons. She is a practicing Roman Catholic.
Career
In 2000, she began working as an outdoor reporter for Sport TV.
She served as an intern in Rádio e Televiso de Portugal (RTP) between 2002 and 2003. She continued to work for the company after that. Her RTP duties include being a outdoor reporter on Bom Dia Portugal, Operaço Triunfo, Praça da Alegria, and being a presenter on "Só Visto" alongside Hélder Reis, as well as other special broadcasts.
In the Summer of 2007, Tânia hosted A Herança, a game show. Isabel Angelino took over Lingo's daily game show from October 2006 to May 2007.
Joo Baio appeared on the daytime talk show Portugal no Coraço from September 17, 2007 to January 2013. Both then and then were escorted to a role as presenters of Praça da Alegria when the show's cast members moved to Lisbon, and after Joo Bailó moved to SIC, she took on the role by herself.
