Tana Mongeau Life

Tana Marie Mongeau ( TAN-?

MOH-zhohohohohoy; born June 24, 1998) is an American Internet celebrity, singer, and model.

She is best known for her "storytime" videos and similar comedies.

Early life

Tana Mongeau was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she was raised, on June 24, 1998, to Rick and Rebecca Mongeau. Tana Turns 21, Tana said that her parents lacked parenting skills, which led to her troubled childhood.

Personal life

Mongeau is openly bisexual. Mongeau was in a relationship with Somer Hollingsworth early in her YouTube career, and he appeared in many of her vlogs before the pair broke up in June 2017. Mongeau had been involved with Bella Thorne from the summer of 2017, including a time in which she, Thorne, and singer Mod Sun were a throne.

In April 2019, Mongeau began dating fellow American YouTuber and internet celebrity Jake Paul. The couple announced that they were engaged in June 2019, but many followers and commentators did not agree that the relationship was legal. In Las Vegas, Paul and Mongeau exchanged vows on July 28 of this year. InTouch later discovered that the couple did not obtain a marriage license prior to the marriage and that the officiant was also not licensed by the state of Nevada. As a result, the marriage was not legally binding. Paul and Mongeau attended the wedding separately, according to Buzzfeed. Tana Turns 21 was the ceremony, which was on pay-per-view for $50. Mongeau said on an episode of the show that the ceremony was "fun and lighthearted" because we're obviously doing it for fun and for entertainment." In January 2020, the couple announced their split.

Tana Mongeau Career

Career

"storytime" videos are one of Mongeau's most popular videos. Mongeau wrote on Snapchat on February 10, 2017 that the FBI was investigating her emails after someone hack into her emails and "sent a bombing and shooting threat to McCarran International Airport."

Mongeau released a video titled "The N Word" on January 24, 2017 that has received over 7 million views. Mongeau tells her "say nigger" after someone on her tour (later revealed to be YouTuber iDubbbz) told her "say nigger" in reaction to Mongeau's tweet to iDubbbz, urging him to ban himself from using the word in his YouTube videos. iDubbbz, on the other hand, made a video highlighting her hypocrisy, quoting situations where she had previously and openly used the word in a derogatory way. Mongeau apologised for using the word on February 17, 2017.

"Hefner," Mongeau's debut single, was released in November 2017. Bella Thorne appeared in the music video. Mongeau was also featured on an episode of Maury earlier this month. Mongeau collaborated with Lil Phag and Dr. Woke on a song titled "Deahh" that was released on December 15, 2017. On March 1, 2018, she performed her second solo single, "W." "Fuck Up," her third solo album, was released on August 31, 2018.

Mongeau revealed on May 26, 2018, that she would be staging her own convention, titled TanaCon, at the same location as VidCon 2018 from June 22 to 23. After the VidCon 2017 organizers refused to grant Mongeau the rights at the convention of a "featured creator," Mongeau intended TanaCon to be a substitute to VidCon. On June 22, 2018, TanaCon took place in Anaheim, California, and was cancelled the same day. Bella Thorne, Shane Dawson, Casey Neistat, Miranda Sings, Ricky Dillon, Elijah Daniel, Jenn McAllister, Trevi Moran, Lisa Schwartz, and Jack Baran were all set to attend panels at the festival, including Bella Thorne, Shane Dawson, Casey Neistat, Miranda Sings, Ricky Sings, Richard Sings, Samuel Sings, Robert Sings, Miranda Sings Despite Mongeau's claim that 20,000 people attempted to attend the festival, over 5,000 to 5,000 people attended at least, and the Marriott was not capable of holding more than 5,000 people. Many who attended or gathered to attend complained of a lack of food and water, as well as being in the sun for hours. Many people were sunburned, and some people were forced to leave due to the heat, according to reports. The case had received a lot of attention and criticism. Fans were comparing it to the Fyre Festival, according to the Verge, and attendees were screaming "refund" after the event. Dawson said that committing to TanaCon was the "worst decision [he] ever made." Mongeau later apologised and announced that refunds would be released. Dawson later released a three-part documentary style collection of YouTube videos that shared Mongeau and other people involved in the convention's perspectives on the event. TanaCon was developed in collaboration with actor and producer Michael Weist.

Mongeau will be seen in her own MTV reality show titled MTV No Filter: Tana Turns 21 premiering Summer 2019. "FaceTime," Mongeau's fourth solo album, was released on May 18, 2019, as well as a video. Mongeau will be a featured creator at the convention in May 2019, according to VidCon. Hank Green, the founder of VidCon, had "fully screwed up" in not inviting Mongeau to VidCon 2017 as a featured creator, according to him.

Mongeau unveiled her own wine brand Dizzy Wine on January 26, 2022.
