The Godzilla Minus One has stomped past the $100 million mark at the global box office ahead of a limited black-and-white release. Takashi Yamazaki, 59, who also wrote the screenplay and worked on the visual effects with Kiyoka Shibuya, filmed the critically acclaimed monster film from Toho Studios, which released the original 1954 Godzilla film. On November 3 to celebrate the franchise's 70th anniversary and Toho's international affiliate later released the film in North America on December 1.
