Susy Kane (born 27 August 1978, Dorking, Surrey, England) is an English actor, comedian, and singer.
Personal life
She is the niece and younger sister of comedy writer and actor Simon Kane, as well as opera singer Alison Warner and writer John Kane. Her father is a former Royal Shakespeare Company associate artist and is the creator and author of British sitcom Terry and June. She is of French Huguenot and Celtic descent.
She grew up in Wandsworth, London, and gained a scholarship to Westminster School in the sixth form. At the University of Edinburgh, she studied Chinese, Art, and Film. She lives in London and Los Angeles.
Career
She began performing in jazz clubs as a child, jazz pianist, and classically trained violinist. She has written event music for the London Eye and performed gypsy fiddle for Charlotte Church's album Tissues and Issues.
