According to reports, Netflix has cancelled plans for a huge comeback movie based on a hit 80s series. The Masters of the Universe, based on He-Man and other Mattel characters, was supposed to be revitalized, with new initiatives now in place since 2019. However, despite the fact that programme designers had already invested a whopping £23 million ($30 million) on the project, the streaming giant has decided to pull the movie.

Variety announced on July that David Harbour and Pedro Pascal will be included in a new limited HBO series titled "My Dentist's Murder Trial." The show will be based on a James Lasdun article "My Dentist's Murder Trial: Adultery, False Identities, and a Lethal Sedation," which chronicled how dentist Dr. Gilberto Nunez was charged with (and eventually dismissed of) the murder of Thomas Kolman. Harbour and Pascal are also executive producing the series, which has been acquired by HBO, and Steve Conrad will direct the first episode, while also executive producing and directing. Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tisch, Bruce Terris, Molly Allen, James Lasdun, and MGM Television are among the executive producers.
