Craig Counsell has reportedly left the Milwaukee Brewers for the Chicago Cubs. The former journeyman infielder, according to ESPN and The Athletic, will replace outgoing Cubs boss David Ross, who was under lockout for the 2024 season. Counsell was also considered for the unfilled New York Mets and Cleveland Guardians positions, which have apparently went to Carlos Mendoza and Stephen Vogt, respectively.
