A poor Chinese immigrant migrated to Thailand with a wish to open his first shop in Bangkok's bustling city. Little did he know that his company, the Central Group, would be worth more than $12 billion today after being promoted as Thailand's biggest mall developer in what can only be described as a classic rags-to-riches tale. Tiang Chirathivat, a Chinese merchant who immigrated to Thailand in 1927 and had 26 children along with opening his first store, Keng Seng Lee, was the man who started the Thai billionaire family's dynasty. Samrit Chirathivat, one of Tiang's 26 offspring, opened Thailand's first department store in 1956, but the semnal's continues to grow and improve. Rich Thai companies are investing in the UK market because they want 'luxury Western brands', which they want to bring to Asia, according to consumer experts.

Nearly three hundred potential cancers were found on unsuspecting Aussies who are now taking steps against the disease.
