Can highly recommend falling in love with your best friend, making a nice baby, exhausting yourselves looking after the baby, and then (with the help of very kind grandparents) escaping to the city for a night. We drank mulled cider as we walked along the river (everyone so young! So loud! Were we ever them?!) mooned around an art gallery (only stop at the pictures you like and never mind what you’re supposed to like is my advice), got a bit lost, ate cheeseburgers and still managed to be in bed by half nine. God it was perfect.✨

Whistle-stop few days with some brilliant people and a lot of pretending not to be shocked by how much a room service coke costs 🌴🌞🎥 (With sincere apologies to karl_willett who dressed me in a selection of beautiful outfits including an INCREDIBLE suit and shoe combo which I then butchered by putting my comfy old trainers back on before I had this picture taken.. 🍏😬)

Somehow, slowly and then very much all of a sudden, summer has turned to autumn. 🍂Here are some things I’ve been enjoying while it happened including but not limited to - my son’s new duck puddle suit, the wedding of two beautiful friends, a power cut in a spooky cottage, foggy dog walks in the woods, the sea the sea the sea, lots of lovely rain and my son’s wild red curly baby hair. (And also just to say, I think we’re all supposed to post videos now but I’m a tired old lady and I miss the quietness of Instagram and I like nosing through other people’s holiday photos. So there you go and here we are. 🌳🍂📸)
