I hope the end is near for this traumatic apocalypse farce comedy, CHRISTOPHER STEVENS' review of last night's television

www.dailymail.co.uk, January 24, 2023
CHRISTOPHER STEVENS: Good comedy is never politically correct. Classic sitcoms can be inspired by ideas in the worst-case scenario. A World War II sex farce starring sadistic Gestapo agents and nubile resistance fighters is a terrible notion, but 'Allo 'Allo! Audiences are already raving with laughter as a result of the raucous. Greg Davies wrote The Cleaner, an all-star BBC1 show with an enthralling plot: his protagonist mops up murder scenes for a living. It's more amusing than it seems.

Simon Bird, the Inbetweeners, says returning to the sitcom would be a "wrong decision."

Simon, who appeared as lead character Will McKenzie on the show which lasted from 2008-2010, spoke to the Radio Times in their latest issue, discussing the time spent on the immensely popular E4 program.
