What Happened to Reynolds in "Queen Charlotte"?Hugh Sachs, AKA Brimsley, Weighs In

www.popsugar.co.uk, May 15, 2023
"Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Novel" gives us a slew of new information about the origins of fan-favourite "Bridgerton" characters. Queen Charlotte, King George III, Lady Danbury, and Violet Bridgerton appeared in the miniseries, as well as the Queen's ever-loyal right-hand man, Brimsley. In the past, Brimsley gets a love story of his own, with the name "King's Man" Reynolds, but we don't see or hear about Reynolds in the present day, sparking a lot of rumors about what happened to Reynolds in the intervening decades. Brimsley and Reynolds appear to be planning on a life together, or as much as they can have in that time and in their roles. When it looks as though George and Charlotte have reconciled and decided to remain together (and in the same palace), Brimsley and Reynolds share a sweet scene in a bath, in which they discuss how their jobs could be used to have a lifetime together. Reynolds is nowhere to be seen in the present-day timeline. Charlotte asks Brimsley if he has a family, he dismisses the question by saying how his entire life has been dedicated to serving her. Later, he was seen dancing alone in a palace garden, intercut with clips of him performing in the same spot with Reynolds during the queen's ball decades ago.
