Russell Wilson, the Broncos' quarterback, has admitted that he regrets not playing better after Nathaniel Hackett's dismissal

www.dailymail.co.uk, December 28, 2022
The first-year NFL head coach (right) was fired on Christmas Day after a 51-14 loss to the Rams with two games remaining in a lost season, allowing Broncos executives to start their search for a new head coach. The 34-year-old Wilson (left), 'Clearly distraught by Hackett, an amazing man, aweful mentor, and a genius, just watching him, his children, and how he's taught the game to us.' [...] The truth is, I wish I'd have done better for him. I wish I've played at the same and at a level that I've always played at and know how to play at such a level...but what I do know is that he's resilient. He's a fantastic mentor, as I've said. I adore him to death, and I'm sure everyone misses him for sure.'

According to a NFL study, concussions dropped by 51% when players wore the new 'Guardian Caps' over the summer

Despite being banned by some players and coaches, the NFL has released a study revealing that its latest 'Guardian Cap' initiative reduced preseason concussions by more than half. According to NFL players' instructions, there was a decrease in concussions by more than half as compared to the norm from the previous three years. For the first preseason game, the league needed tight ends, linebackers, and linemen on both sides of the ball to wear the softshell-esque liners over their helmets. During this time period, concussion rates have consistently increased.

Russell Wilson's return to Lumen Field with the Denver Broncos has been booed by Seattle Seahawks fans

Fans of the Seattle Seahawks expressed their dissatisfaction with ex-quarterback Russell Wilson's booing on his return to Lumen Field as a Bronco for his first regular season game since being drafted to Denver in March. Upon leaving the tunnel for the turf ahead of the first league game of Monday Night Football, the 33-year-old was treated with a hostile reception. Wilson and a fourth-round pick were traded to the Broncos in exchange for two first-round picks, two second-round picks, a fifth-round pick, quarterback Drew Lock, and defensive lineman Shelby Harris. Noah Fant was also a part of the contract.
