Countryfile has been hit with backlash from fans, who claim they had to 'switch off' after struggling with Sunday night's episode because there wasn't enough farming in it. The popular British documentary series has previously faced complaints from fans for a number of recent episodes - particularly about the lack of usual lighthearted countryside content.

Good Morning Britain marked 10 years on air on Monday.  The show first hit screens in 2014 and a decade on from the first episode, Susanna Reid spoke to co-host Richard Madeley about early life on the show.  A flashback clip showed the anchorwoman sitting alongside Ben Shephard, Sean Fletcher and Charlotte Hawkins while Laura Tobin stood next to their desk. 

After the Countryfile segment sparked backlash from viewers last month, the BBC has broken silence. Following an episode that aired on March 17, the much-loved show that gives viewers a glimpse of country life and all that goes along with it, came under fire. Datshiane Navanayagam, a writer from Devon and Cornwall, went to investigate why people in the countryside have trouble getting to NHS dentists.

Sean Fletcher, the presenter of Good Morning Britain, claims he struggled with the demands of his job while his son battled obsessive compulsive disorder. The TV presenter is known to millions as the show's simplegoing co-host, but he admits that his positive attitude was harmed by his son's Reuben's illness and the effect it had on their personal lives. Fletcher, 49, of The Mirror's Men Inn Mind spin-off podcast, says he'struggled to keep his head above water' on Good Morning Britain after the now 20-year-old's diagnosis in 2014.

Arnold Clark, the show's biggest sponsor, has confirmed that it would not be renewing its existing multi-million-pound contract with the channel in fall as planned. The Mail discovered that certain people who have been invited to be guests are now refusing to appear after ITV's "jewel in the crown." ITV executives are fighting to save the show, with advertisers concerned that it is now a'safe bet.' Dr Ranj Singh, a regular visitor on This Morning, accused the show of having a 'toxic' culture of bullying and discrimination.

Lovely Mary, a 77-year-old Welsh woman, wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry when gazing at a photo of her father she'd never knew, wasn't sure if to laugh or cry. So she did both. . .. The picture was then kissed and then kissed. The'reveal' for John, who was also 77, was much more emotional.

Mary Phillips, a Welsh immigrant, told her daughters how she suffered from racial violence as a child growing up in the United Kingdom. "So I just used to get some bleach and cloth, and wash my face," Mary cried during the program.
