The 58-year-old New York native, who started her career at just 11 months, and teen  both opted to get a sentimental design inked to their wrists of two pairs of high heels facing each other, symbolizing 'Grier literally growing into Brooke's shoes.' Grier, a self-professed fashion fiend with a penchant for swiping designer pieces from her mom's closet, is pursing a modeling career and has already been featured in a Mother's Day campaign for Victoria's Secret alongside Shields. The women documented the experience on an upcoming episode of celebrity tattoo artist Scott Campbell's Stupid Things for Love podcast.

Hundreds of thousands of students have opted out of college since the pandemic, with some choosing to work hourly in defiance of tuition and debt. What started off as a pandemic blip, has now erupted into a disaster. According to statistics from the National Student Clearinghouse, undergraduate college enrollment dropped 8 percent from 2019 to 2022, with declines even after returning to in-person classes. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the decline in the college-going rate since 2018 is the biggest on record.

Cox's 18-year-old daughter and Dern's 21-year-old son, Jaya and Ellery Harper, have both earned matching tattoos with their respective children, including Coco Arquette, and Dern's 18-year-old daughter and her 21-year-old son. Cox posted a group photo of the family's showing off the scheme, which is a delicate paper aeroplane traced by a dotted line and the word "go long" in cursive font. Cox, Jaya, and Ellery all got the tattoo on their forearms, while Dern's is on her inner bicep, and Coco's is on her upper back. "We're adding a new layer to our 16-year Christmas Eve tradition." In her Instagram post, Cox wrote, "We may have sleeves by 2025." Scott Campbell, a New York-based tattoo artist whose previous clients include actors such as Travis Scott, Orlando Bloom, and Travis Barker. The "Scream 6" actor didn't reveal the deeper meaning behind the design, but some followers joked that it could be a nod to Cox's Monica Geller's advise to Rachel Green that she "go long" during a Thanksgiving football game on "Mates."
