Sarai Givaty Career

Career

In an Israeli tonight sketch (Kol Layla), where she appeared as an American journalist, Givaty's first role was on the Israeli tonight show (Kol Layla). The segment was extremely popular. Raana Shacked, an Israeli hush critic, called it "the pick of the show" on the last show. Even after she moved to New York City, where she attended acting class at the HB Studios, Givaty kept shooting the segment.

In 2005, Givaty was part of a select group of well-known young adult television hosts who earned the Israel Golden Screen Award (Masah Hazahav) for hosting the show Exit on Arutz 10. Givaty became a household name in Israel's entertainment industry shortly after, receiving numerous major corporation endorsements shortly thereafter.

A year later, Givaty began to investigate her career choices in Los Angeles. She landed the lead role in a film called The Passage, starring Stephen Dorff at her arrival. In 2007, the film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, where critics called Givaty's appearance "star making."

Enrique Iglesias' video "Somebody's Me" was another notable project on which she has worked.

In 2008, she appeared in My Own Worst Enemy's pilot episode, next to Christian Slater. In 2009, she was back in Israel to film yet another comedic role in the popular TV series The Pilot Wives.

In the eighth season of NCIS, it was announced that Givaty would play Mossad Officer Liat Tuvia for two episodes. Shane Brennan, a veteran Mossad agent, talked about Liat's appearance in the film plot, adding that his presence would leave the character "personally and professionally." "Let's just say, Liat is a good guy at the end of the day," Givaty said in an interview after the first episode aired. It's just that her ways are different. She doesn't say 'Drop your weapon' before firing a terrorist. She shoots him and says, 'Drop your weapon,'...Well, she has her way, but at the end of the day, she's a good girl."

In addition, Givaty has performed piano and guitar in a band and has appeared in both Israel and Los Angeles.

Mel Gibson and Robert Davi appeared together in The Expendables 3 in 2014.

She co-starred in Body of Deceit, a romantic thriller film starring Kristanna Loken in 2017.
