Samuli Casimir Edelmann (born 21 July 1968) is a Finnish actor and singer.
Family and career
Edelmann was born in Pori, Finland, and the son of actress Marja-Leena Kouki and composer Toni Edelmann. Laura Tuomarila, Edelmann's wife, has two children. Samuli Edelmann and his family migrated to Malta in the spring of 2006, and his family and his family moved back to Finland in the late summer of 2015.
In 1991, Edelmann graduated from the Theatre Academy of Finland. He had already appeared in three films, Talvisota and two Vääpeli Körmy movies before graduation. But it was his role in the film Veturihet heiluttaa in 1992 that brought him to fame. Patrick in Romanovin kivet (1993), Jussi Murikka in Häjyt (1999), Roope in Levottomat (1999), and Tomppa in Rööperi are among his other well-known roles.
He has appeared in the television series Vintiöt and Irtiottoja, in addition to films. He has also dubbed many series and films, e.g., Tanoshii Moomin Ikka (TV series) and Shrek's part in the movie of the same name.

Edelmann made his name as a performer in 1991 with his single "Pienest kii." His song, "Peggy" in the same year, was a contender for the Eurovision Song Contest, but it did not become Finland's entry that year. In 1995, he performed "Tuhat yötö," a duet with Sani from Aikakone, which was one of the year's most popular songs. Edelmann has performed duets with Mikko Kuustonen, Laura Närhi, Cata Mansikka-aho, Mari Rantasila, and Irina Björklund. "(Sinä olet) Aurinko), which is also known as Ihana valo, "Kaikki tahtoo," and "Karavaanari" are among Edelmann's hits.
