More than £6,400 has been flogged for one of the first ten £10 coins (left and right) honoring the Queen's ascension to the throne monarch. In 2015, the coin was milled as Queen Elizabeth overtook her great-grandmother Queen Victoria as the most time on the throne. The coin depicts five coinage portraits of the Queen during her stunning 70-year reign (right). In the Royal Mint in Llantrisant, near Cardiff, only 180 of the rare coins were minted. However, you will not be able to use the coin since it is only commemorative. Although modern British coins have steadily increased in value in recent years, Heritage Auctions' Sam Spiegel said, 'We did see a significant increase since Queen Elizabeth's death.'
