Calls for Labour to suspend local council leader Darren Rodwell - who's bidding to become an MP - after his election banner was hung from GRAVESTONES near Barking Abbey

After photographs of his election banner being hanged from gravestones surfaced, Labour council leader David Cameron has been asked to ban a local council leader from the party. Barking & Dagenham Council leader Darren Rodwell has been chastised for his 'deeply concerning and offensive' conduct. In the grounds of Barking Abbey, a Labour activist tied to headstones. At the general election, Mr Rodwell is planning to be Barking's new MP, though Dame Margaret Hodge, the current MP, is standing down. Sam Holland, the Tory candidate for Dagenham and Rainham, has written to Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer to insist that Mr Rodwell be suspended from the party and that an investigation be launched. "It is deeply surprising and insulting to so many in Barking and Dagenham that the Labour leader and parliament candidate for Barking would find it appropriate to trample graves and attach Labour campaign literature to the deceased's memorials.' 'This alleges a shocking lack of judgement and character in the search of political office.' It could also be deemed a criminal offense.'

Among the Just Stop Oil campaigners who caused mayhem today, an artist who vandalized her police tag and sells her paintings for thousands of people around the world is speaking with her unborn niece in a strange video atop the M25 gantry. Isabel Rock, 41, was one of demonstrators who sparked widespread protests today, as they somehow managed to avoid police this morning. Jesse Prince, a 19-year-old protester, appeared on television, as did Sam Holland, 21. Rachel Payne, 75, who said she was there for her 'five grandchildren', was another person seen in videos nestling on gantries on the road network.

Just Stop Oil for the M25 AGAIN: For the third day in a row, Prospero manages to scale gantry

www.dailymail.co.uk, November 9, 2022
As a protester scaled a gantry to threaten a third day of travel terror, Just Stop Oil has returned to the M25 once more this morning. At 6.31 a.m. Surrey Police said one protester is on a gantry near junction 8, but regular traffic is moving normally.' As they have been all week, officers are proactively patrolling the remainder of the M25.' Earlier this morning, the police had warned would-be eco-zealots that "any criminality will be dealt with immediately." On Twitter, the company announced that it is "proactively patrolling the M25 today in anticipation of any further threats to cause confusion." Maintaining traffic moving is the most important, and any criminal charges will be dealt with as soon as possible. If you're late, pls don't ignore'red crosses' or use a hard shoulder - it's affecting emergency vehicles.'

Policeman is seen helping Just Stop Oil protest vicar take a sip of drink

During a demonstration yesterday, pandering police appeared to come to the rescue of eco-zealots who caused chaos by blocking roads and digging tunnels near oil plants by handing them water as they sat with their hands glued to the ground amid rising tensions against the country's 'woke' forces. Around 30 anarchists from XR-affiliated Just Stop Oil disrupted the morning rush hour in Grays, Essex, with ten protesters staging a sit-down protest on a road next to the M25, while others occupied a nearby oil terminal, and some blocked access roads to the Kingsbury oil terminal in Warwickshire. Among those at the Grays protest was retired vicar Mark Coleman, 63, of Rochdale, Greater Manchester, who regularly attends climate change demonstrations. Even though the company's antics caused travel hell for hundreds of motorists, he was fed water by at least one officer. Despite more than 20 arrests, the scenes are likely to fuel outrage among some of Britain's forces' increasingly 'light touch' policing.

Unlikely protesters who block the road leading to a major depot along the M25 in Essex, the protesters only stopped oil protesters

As some motorists decided to mount the pavement to get to them, environmental campaigners from Just Stop Oil protested a road next to the M25 at Grays this morning. Ten protesters from the group sat on Weston Avenue, which runs parallel to the Dartford Crossing to Kent. At least 12 Essex police officers arrived just minutes later and began dragging them away right away. Mark Coleman, of Rochdale, and Sue Parfitt, of Bristol, who have been regulars at environmental protests around England in recent years, were among those protested this morning. One of the protesters could be seen getting out of his car to talk to the demonstrators - who also put their bicycles into the pavement - before rushing to get past them at the start of the morning rush-hour. The protest comes six weeks before Just Stop Oil's plans to blockade Parliament for weeks as a result of plans to increase North Sea oil production, with demonstrations scheduled to begin on October 1.
