And now that many behind-the-scenes details from the filming of Shonda Rhimes' miniseries have been revealed by the cast. The cast has divulged all about the creation of the wildly anticipated exhibit, from using a bouncy ball in sex scenes and 'choreographing' raunchy scenes to 'authentic' Regency-era costumes.

But the "Queen Charlotte" cast tells us there is one downside to wearing heavy, luxurious costumes on the gorgeous sets: It gets really hot! According to Sam Clemmett, who plays Young Brimsley, "We have one of the hottest summers ever." They beat the heat by deploying cooling tents right off the track, where they could get a blast of cold air in between takes. Arsema Thomas, a teenage Lady Danbury, says she'll have to "take off pieces" of her costume when it was "high," but that the costume department also gave her "arm pit pads" right in her dresses to soak up the sweat. She describes herself as a "very sweaty person."
