During West Brom's loss to Southampton on Friday, manager Carlos Corberan was dismissed in strange circumstances. After just five minutes of play at the Hawthorns, Saints forward Sekou Mara's misplaced pass seemed to have gone out of play as it traveled down the byline. Corberan stepped out of his technical zone and touched it with his foot as the ball went by him. The interference caused immediate protests from the Southampton bench, as the ball had not been declared to have gone out of play and referee Sam Allison delivered the Spaniard a red card.
