Helen Mary Rosamond (right), 48, falsified and overcharged invoices from her event management company Human Group, swindling more than $19 million from the National Australia Bank between 2013 and 2018. In November, a jury found Rosamond guilty of fraudulent charges to Rosemary Rogers, former chief of-staff to NAB chief executives, and that she obtained or attempted to obtain land by deception.

Helen Mary Rosamond, 47, a senior event management consultant, has been accused of defrauding NAB by sending false and inflated invoices from Human Group to the bank, as well as hundreds of dollars in gifts to Rosemary Rogers to ensure they were compensated. Rosamond was found guilty of 69 charges of 92, including unlawfully granting Rogers hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxpayers between 2013 and 2017. The expenses are estimated to have surpassed $26 million and included a $620,000 trip with Roger's extended family to New York, Miami, and other cities in 2014. Rosamond was seen smiling for news cameras outside the courthouse in August.

Helen Mary Rosamond, accused NAB scammer, allegedly stole millions from bank for luxury life

A jury heard that fraudulent payments and modified invoices were all part of an accused fraudster's plot to honor a NAB senior workerer and lock in extended business deals with the bank. Prosecutors Katrina Mackenzie delved into the many alleged illegal compensation and financial gains that the Human Group chief executive gained between 2013 and 2017. Ms Mackenzie said Rosamond misappropriately used bank funds to finance Rosemary Rogers, former chief of staff to the National Bank of Australia's CEO, as the 47-year-old has pleaded not guilty to hundreds of charges.
