Shou Wan Por (born July 17, 1960), also known as Robin Shou, is a Hong Kong Chinese actor, martial artist, and stuntman. Known for his role in the Mortal Kombat film series (1995 and 1997), as Gobei in Beverly Hills Ninja (1997), and as 14K in Death Race films (2008-2013), Shou was also a Hong Kong action actor in the late 1980s and 1990s and appeared in around 40 films during his Hong Kong career before moving to Hollywood in 1994. In 1990, Shou's first serious role was in Forbidden Nights, with Melissa Gilbert. * Though it was only a TV show, this was his first American debut. Shou, on the other hand, went back to Hong Kong and started filming there. * In 1994, Shou returned to Los Angeles, where he appeared as Liu Kang, a Shaolin monk pursuing revenge for his younger brother's murder in Mortal Kombat. Shou was also included in another fighting video game adaptation, DOA: Dead or Alive, based on Tecmo's video game series of the same name and developed by Mortal Kombat director Paul W. Anderson and producer Jeremy Bolt. He appeared in the Death Race series for 14 years, and in 2009's Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, he appeared as Gen. Milla Jovovich was trained by Shou for her role in Resident Evil.
