Leeds reject Everton's £15m bid for Wilfried Gnonto with the club determined not to sell the winger

Wilfried Gnonto's £15 million bid was turned down by Leeds. The Toffees piqued their curiosity in the dynamic Italian winger, but the Yorkshire side, who also informed Everton that they have no intention in selling, quickly dismissed them. Leeds also lost a number of players from the squad's relegation to the Championship, including Rodrigo, Robin Koch, Diego Llorente, Brenden Aaronson, Rasmus Kristensen, and Weston McKennie.
Following Leeds' promotion to Championship, Rasmus Kristensen joined Roma on a season-long loan

Rasmus Kristensen, a Leeds defender, has joined Roma on a season-long loan. The 26-year-old Denmark defender joined Leeds 12 months ago and appeared 30 times last season, scoring three goals. Kristensen joins Diego Llorente for a loan transfer to Stadio Olimpico in the summer, when Rodrigo, Robin Koch, and Brenden Aaronson have all left the club.
After a £3 million release clause was triggered, Leeds forward Rodrigo is expected to join Al Rayyan in Qatar

In the Premier League last season, the 32-year-old was the top scorer for Leeds, scoring 12 times, but it is unlikely that he will be able to return to the Championship with the team. In 2020, he joined the club from Valencia for £26 million, and was seen as a marquee signing to push the team forward in the Premier League. The Spaniard played 28 goals for Leeds over the past three years, but he never really established a starting position and didn't do enough to assist them in recovering from relegation from the Premier League last season.
