According to TMZ, women's bodybuilding pioneer Lisa Lyon is in a serious bout with pancreatic cancer. Lyon, who appeared on Playboy in 1980, is apparently being treated in a hospice in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley. 'Lisa Lyon's Body Magic,' a book on bodybuilding, was published a year later in 1981, and she was also good friends with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Arnold Schwarzenegger's journey from poverty to bodybuilding champion all the way to Governor of California will be chronicled in this book. Portraits by leading photographers, such as Richard Avedon, Annie Leibovitz, Robert Mapplethorpe, Herb Ritts, Francesco Scavullo, and Andy Warhol are expected in the two volume edition. Schwarzenegger's early bodybuilding days, as well as stills from film's exhibitions and dozens of photographs from his personal archive are among the images included.
