Jodie Whittaker, Robert Carlyle and Brendan Coyle were spotted filming upcoming Netflix drama Toxic Town in Cheshire on Tuesday.  The drama focuses on three mothers fighting for justice following toxic waste spillages in the town of Corby in Northamptonshire.  The Doctor Who star, 41, is playing Susan McIntyre in the series. Susan is one of the mums whose lives were drastically affected by the catastrophe in the Eighties. 

Although the red thong worn in The Full Monty in 1997 garnered applause in the film, it seems that it has diminished in popularity as it failed to sell in a Hollywood prop auction. On Tuesday, Robert Carlyle's co-star Mark Addy's red thong was up for auction along with other popular props, but it wasn't the only one that didn't sell. However, although the controversial Titanic door prop and Indiana Jones' whip raised hundreds of thousands at the auction of props owned by Planet Hollywood, the red satin thong did not sell.

Detectives are hoping that witnesses will bring "corroborating evidence" - mementoes from their time on the show - or even memorabilia - to donate to a vast repository of the event's history. According to the synopsis, the highly awaited comeback is planned in the same post-industrial city and will explore'society's dying healthcare, education, and jobs sectors.'

Before shooting further scenes with the rest of his cast members, the film's leading man, 61, who appeared in the 1997 hit, could be seen taking a break on set. After actress Hugo Speer was booted from the Disney+ reboot last month, the cast was compelled to film reshoots.
