Robbie Gould announced his retirement on Thursday after 18 seasons in the NFL, which saw him become the 10th highest points scorer in history. During his tenure in the league, the 41-year has scored 1,961 points (10th all-time) and 447 field goals (eighth), most notably with the San Francisco 49ers and Chicago Bears. "Although football has been a huge part of my life for the past 18 years, it is with utmost reverence and admiration that I have announced my withdrawal from the National Football League,' he wrote on the Players' Tribune.
