Just under a month after Margot Robbie and Olivia Wilde's Avengelyne first made waves, the project has a new studio home in Warner Bros. The project was first announced in early April, with Robbie set to star in the adaptation of Rob Liefeld's (Deadpool) comic book, and produce through her LuckyChap company. Wilde was also set to direct, with the original report said the project was heading to an auction for the rights.

Margot Robbie and Olivia Wilde, two of Hollywood's top female actors, are apparently teaming up on a new female-led superhero film. According to Deadline, Wilde is supposed to direct a film adaptation of Avengelyne, a Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld's comic book character who debuted in 1995. Robbie and her partner Tom Ackerley's LuckyChap Entertainment banner, as well as Simon Kinberg, known for the Deadpool and X-Men films, and Genre Films' Audrey Chon.
