He is best known for his role as Batman in the animated series The Batman (2004–2010), Spider-Man Unlimited (1999–2001), and the video games Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro for PlayStation and a single cameo in the Skylanders franchise. In the '90s English dub of the anime series Sailor Moon, Carlos "Stunts" Rey, Pablo Urduz, Rafael Sera in Extreme Ghostbusters, Luis Sera, Carlos "Respect Xedo

Romano performed voice narration for the PBS series Curious George from 2006 to 2021, as well as previews on NBC, The WB, and The CW.
