Cade Beloso hit the tiebreaking home run in the 11th inning after Ty Floyd scored a career-high 17 for the most in a College World Series game in 51 years, and LSU defeated Florida 4-3 in Game 1 of the CWS finals on Saturday night. Beloso's blast came after LSU left fielder Josh Pearson failed to prevent Florida from winning the 10th national championship and first since 2009. Beloso's three-run homer in a 5-2 victory over Wake Forest on Wednesday kept the Tigers' season alive, and he took the 11th against Brandon Neely (3-2) in a 5-2 victory.
