Early life and career

Thompson grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina. He attended Millbrook High School, where he performed in theater productions regularly and was also mocked for being gay. Thompson filmed YouTube videos about his bullying experience as well as fashion during this period. He also made comedic videos of himself, often speaking directly to the camera.

When he was 17, Kylie Jenner posted one of his videos, which resulted in a rise in his profile on the website. By the time Vine shuts down in 2016, he has gained 2.5 million followers. Thompson began posting short videos on Instagram and then expanded his social media fanbase. He has monetized his videos by promoting books and guest appearances at concerts and other websites.

Thompson appeared in the YouTube web series Foursome from 2016 to 2018.

Thompson narrated several interludes for Aminé's album OnePointFive in 2018 and was also featured in "Reel It In" music video. Aminé sent Thompson a direct message on Instagram inviting him to be on the album. He walked in his first runway show for designer Alexander Wang in December.

Thompson appeared in the 2022 stoner comedy Good Mourning, with Machine Gun Kelly and Mod Sun.
