Since being bitten by a copperhead snake during a camping trip in North Carolina, a Tennessee boy, four years old, is recovering

www.dailymail.co.uk, June 7, 2023
When Jad Pollom, four, was camping outside his family's cabin on Memorial Day weekend in the Highlands, near the Georgia border, when he was bitten while playing outside the family's house. Jesse Pollom, the boy's parent, was determined to snap a snapshot of the offending snake as it slithered away. Jad's parents rushed him to a local emergency room, where he received ten vials of anti-venom therapy, which may have reduced the issue but did not stop the boy's skin from swelling. He was in the hospital for three days before being discharged home.
