Following a night out last summer, British pop star Rex Orange County (pictured left) has been cleared of all charges after being accused of sexually assaulting a woman on six occasions. Alexander O'Connor, a Surrey-born Brit school graduate, was accused of committing the criminal offences on June 1 and 2 last year. The multi-instrumentalist was accused of twice assaulting the woman in the West End, once in a taxi and three more times at his house in Notting Hill. He denied all charges and had a trial date scheduled for January 3. However, he has been cleared some 18 months after the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) found there was no reason to proceed with the investigation. On Instagram today, the singer (pictured right) denied these allegations and said he was grateful that independent evidence had cleared me of wrongdoing. I've never assaulted anyone, and I do not endorse violence or bullying conduct of any kind.'
