Bucs will add free agent Cole Beasley to Tom Brady's depleted receiving corps

www.dailymail.co.uk, September 20, 2022
Cole Beasley, a free agent who has been unsigned since quarrelling with the NFL over its vaccine policy for much of last season, is reinforcing their depleted receiving corps. Beasley's handler has informed DailyMail.com that the Buccaneers will add Beasley to their practice squad, but that they intend to move him to the 53-man roster in the coming days. Mike Garafolo of NFL Network was the first to announce Beasley's purchase. The change definitely addresses a pressing need for Tampa Bay and quarterback Tom Brady. Mike Evans, a wideout for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has been suspended for one game after his on-field skirmish with New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore on Sunday. In addition, Tampa Bay is also without free-agent Julio Jones, who missed Sunday's win over the Saints due to a knee injury.
