Ran Carthon, the Titans' general manager, started clearing up some much-needed salary cap space on Wednesday. Taylor Lewan, a three-time Pro Bowl left tackle, was recalled by the Titans for a failed physical, as well as former wide receiver Robert Woods and kicker Randy Bullock. Last September, Lewan, Michigan's 11th pick overall in the 2014 draft, tore his right ACL. He resurrects the ACL in 2020 and has played just 20 games in all over the past three seasons. In the last year of his deal, the nine-year veteran was due $14.8 million.
