Ms Whittome, 26, Nottingham East's MEP and member of the Socialist Campaign Group, said the country's first Hindu Prime Minister was 'not on your side' due to his immense personal wealth. Mr Sunak will be Asia's first to rule for more than two centuries at the age of 42, with his triumph on Diwali. According to the Daily Telegraph, Ms Wittome's tweet was later deleted after she was called by Labour headquarters and told to delete it.
