Amazon is heading to ancient Greece with the streaming service's direct-to-series order for a TV show based on the famed God of War video game series. The news (via Amazon Press Release) was made on Wednesday, months after Deadline announced that Amazon was in talks for the live-action movie. Writer Rafe Judkins (The Wheel of Time), Mark Fermez, Children of Men), and Hawk Ostby (Iron Man, Children of Men) based on the long-running PlayStation video game series will be included on the show.
