After the series signed a deal with broadcast rights on TNT Sports next season, former Tottenham and England actor Jermaine Jenas is expected to be the next host of Formula E coverage. Starting with the first race in Mexico City on January 13, the ex midfielder will be joined by regular Formula E presenter Nicki Shields as well as Radzi Chinyanganya as part of a new-look team. Jenas said he had had a real passion for the sport since he hung up his boots and was relishing the 'incredible' opportunity.
